Credits User Permissions

In order to use the Credits feature, you must grant the appropriate User Permissions to the Administrators who are responsible for managing user Credits. You can grant all Credit-related permissions by granting the Manage Credits User Permission, or you can grant or deny specific credit related sub permissions as needed. On the ControlPanel:

Click

on the Users menu to expand it.

Click Users.

Search for the users for whom you want to manage permissions.

Filter	Description
Usernames Beginning With	Click the first letter of a username or [0-9] to display all usernames beginning with the option you selected. You can also click [Show All] to display all Users.
Field(s) Containing	Type a Username, First Name, or Last Name, or any combination of the three. You can also type partial usernames, first names or last names if you are unsure of the exact spelling or if you want to broaden your search.
Users with Status	Select one or more of the following check boxes to search for usernames by status. The more check boxes you select, the broader your search. Denied Access - Users whose access to the LearnCenter is denied because they have not been approved by an Administrator. They can only access the LearnCenter when an Admin approves them. Pending Approval - Users who are awaiting approval to use the LearnCenter. Approved - Users who have been approved to use the LearnCenter Approved Users can access the LearnCenter. Removed - Users who have been removed from the LearnCenter. Disabled Access - Users who are approved, but who failed logging in multiple times, based on the settings for the LearnCenter password lockout feature. They cannot access the LearnCenter until an Administrator removes the lockout flag on their User accounts. Note: See Customizing the Login Lockout Feature for additional information on setting up the Login Lockout feature. If you do not select any of the check boxes, the search is performed on Users of all statuses except Removed. Note: See Customizing the Login Lockout Feature in online help for additional information on setting up the Login Lockout feature. If you do not select any of the check boxes, the search is performed on Users of all statuses except Removed.
*User Group	This field displays if you are using the classic Groups functionality. You can search for users who are part of groups. Select (highlight) the group name in User Group box. If you want to further filter by sub group, click Sub Groups and then select the sub group name in the box. Click Show Users to display the members of this group in the User List.
*Groups	This field displays if you are using the new Groups functionality. Select the Group you want from the drop-down list. Notice that the unique Group Code is listed next to the Group Name in the list.
Display	Decide how many results you want to display on the page and select it from the Display drop-down list. The default number of records displayed on the page is 50. You can change this by selecting a different number from the Display drop-down list. You can display up to 1000 records.

Click

next to a User.

Click

next to Manage Credits to expand the list of permissions.

Click the check box next to a permission to grant it to the User.
or
Clear the check box to deny the permission to the User.

Click Save.

Permission

Description

Manage Credits

Grant this permission to any Admins responsible for managing credits. By granting this top level permission, you automatically grant all sub permissions for the Manage Credits permission category. If you want to customize the level of permissions an Admin has, you can grant or deny any of the sub permissions for this category.

Add Credit Mapped Categories

Enables Admins to add credit mapped categories. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to add credit mapped categories.

Add Credit Mapped Classes

Enables Admins to add credit mapped classes. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to add credit mapped classes.

Add Credit Mapped Courses

Enables Admins to add credit mapped courses. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to add credit mapped courses.

Add Credit Mapped Enrollments

Enables Admins to add credit mapped enrollments. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to add credit mapped enrollments.

Add Credit Mapped Users

Enables Admins to add credit mapped users. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to add credit mapped users.

Add Credits

Enables Admins to add credits. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to add credits.

Add Credit Mapped Certificates

Enables Admins to map certificates to credits. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to map certificates to credits.

Add Credit Mapped Training Offering

Enables Users to map a credit to a Training Offering. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to map a credit to a Training Offering.

Edit Credit Mapped Users

Enables Admins to change user earned credits. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able edit earned credits in the Enrolled Users page.

Edit Credits

Enables Admins to edit credits. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to edit credits.

Delete Credit Mapped Categories

Enables Admins to delete credit mapped categories. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to delete credit mapped categories.

Delete Credit Mapped Classes

Enables Admins to delete credit mapped classes. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to delete credit mapped classes.

Delete Credit Mapped Courses

Enables Admins to delete credit mapped courses. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to delete credit mapped courses.

Delete Credit Mapped Enrollments

Enables Admins to delete credit mapped enrollments. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to delete credit mapped enrollments.

Delete Credit Mapped Users

Enables Admins to delete credit mapped users. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to delete credit mapped users.

Delete Credits

Enables Admins to delete credits. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to delete credits.

Delete Credit Mapped Certificates

Enables Admins to delete certificates mapped to credits. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to delete certificates mapped to credits.

Delete Credit Mapped Training Offering

Enables Users to delete a credit from a Training Offering. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to delete a credit from a Training Offering.

View Credit Mapped Categories

Enables Admins to view credit mapped categories. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to view credit mapped categories.

View Credit Mapped Classes

Enables Admins to view credit mapped classes. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to view credit mapped classes.

View Credit Mapped Courses

Enables Admins to view credit mapped courses. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to view credit mapped courses.

View Credit Mapped Enrollments

Enables Admins to view credit mapped enrollments. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to view credit mapped enrollments.

View Credit Mapped Users

Enables Admins to view credit mapped users. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to view credit mapped users.

View Credits

Enables Admins to view credits. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to view credits.

View Credit Mapped Certificates

Enables Admins to view certificates mapped to credits. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to view certificates mapped to credits

View Credit Mapped Training Offering

Enables Users to view a credit mapped to a Training Offering. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to view a credit mapped to a Training Offering.
