Importer

You can import Assessments from outside sources such as .XML or .TXT files. You can either cut and paste the data or upload it from the file. On the ControlPanel:

1. Click   on the Assessments/Surveys menu to expand it.
2. Click Importer.
3. Select one of the following from the Import Type drop-down list;

• Paste into Text Area - to paste text from a QTILite file with an .XML extension.
• Upload QTI File - to upload a QTILite file with an .XML extension.

4. If you selected Paste into Text Area, a text box displays on the Importer page. Open the QTILite.XML file, copy the portion you want from it, then paste the data into the Paste Data into Text Area box.
   or
   If you selected Upload QTI File, a browser box displays on the Importer page. Click Browse, select the QTILite.TXT file you want to upload, and click Open.
5. Click Continue With Import.

Once you have uploaded or pasted your file, you can find and edit it by searching by date on the Manage Assessments/Surveys page.
