Tools

You can customize certain functionality and behavior for your LearnCenter, such as the Ratings and Review tool, Global Search functionality, and certain more specific functionality that can only be changed by working with Registry keys. In most cases, you will edit registry keys with the assistance of Taleo Learn Support personnel. On the ControlPanel,click on the Tools menu to expand it.

The Registry Editor is an advanced feature that should only be used with the help of Taleo Learn Support personnel. Making changes to the registry can dramatically alter the way your LearnCenter behaves.

From the Tools menu, you can:

Edit Registry Keys
Configure Global Search Functionality
Review Task Manager Automation Service Items
Set up the Ratings and Review Feature

The following User Permissions are required to use the features in this menu:

View Management Links (sub Permission of Manage Options)
View System Registry (sub Permission of Manage Options)
Edit LearnCenter Registry (parent and sub User Permissions)
Manage Global Search (parent and sub User Permissions)
