Job Profiles User Permissions

You must grant the appropriate Job Profiles User Permissions to the Administrators who are responsible for Job Profiles. You can grant all Job Profiles-related permissions by granting the Manage Job Profiles User Permission, or you can grant or deny specific Job Profiles-related sub permissions as needed.

On the ControlPanel:

  1. Click   on the Users menu to expand it.
  2. Click Users.
  3. Clicknext to an Admin.
  4. Click next to Manage Job Profiles to expand the list of permissions.
  5. Click the check box next to a permission to grant it to the Admin.
    or
    Clear the check box to deny the permission to the Admin.
  6. Click Save.

Each permission is described below.

Permission Description

Manage Job Profiles

Grant this permission to any Users responsible for managing Job Profiles.

View Job Profiles

Enables Users to view Job Profiles. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to view Job Profiles.

Add Job Profiles

Enables Users to add Job Profiles. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to add Job Profiles.

Delete Job Profiles

Enables Users to delete Job Profiles. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to delete Job Profiles.

Edit Job Profiles

Enables Users to edit Job Profiles. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to edit Job Profiles.

View Job Profile Mapped Skills

Enables Users to view Job Profiles mapped to Skills. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to view Job Profiles mapped to Skills.

Add Job Profile Mapped Skills

Enables Users to map Job Profiles mapped to Skills. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to map Job Profiles mapped to Skills.

Delete Job Profile Mapped Skills

Enables Users to delete the mapping between Skills and Job Profiles. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to delete the mapping between Skills and Job Profiles.

View Job Profile Mapped Users

Enables Users to view Users who are mapped to Job Profiles. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to view Users who are mapped to Job Profiles.

Add Job Profile Mapped Users

Enables Users to map Users to Job Profiles. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to map Users to Job Profiles.

Delete Job Profile Mapped Users

Enables Users to delete the mapping between Users and Job Profiles. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to delete the mapping between Users and Job Profiles.

View Job Profile Mapped Learning Plans

Enables Users to view Job Profiles mapped to Learning Plans. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to view Job Profiles mapped to Learning Plans.

Add Job Profile Mapped Learning Plans

Enables Users to map Learning Plans to Job Profiles. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to map Learning Plans to Job Profiles.

Delete Job Profile Mapped Learning Plans

Enables Users to remove Learning Plans from Job Profiles. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to remove Learning Plans from Job Profiles.

Customize Skill Network

Enables Admins to customize Job Profiles to use the Skill Network feature. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to customize Job Profiles to use the Skill Network feature.

Note: This User Permission only displays if you have activated the Skill Network feature. Contact Customer Support through My Oracle Support for more details. See Skill Network for information about this feature.

Edit Skill Score

Enables Admins to customize the Skill Score® minimum and maximum range. If you deny this permission, Admins will not be able to customize the Skill Score minimum and maximum range.

View Skill Score

Enables Admins and Users to view Skill Scores in dynamic objects and the Job Profile pages. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to view Skill Scores in dynamic objects or the Job Profile pages.
