Report Builder User Permissions

You must grant the appropriate Report Builder User Permissions to the Administrators who are responsible for Reports. You can grant all Reports-related permissions by granting the Manage Reports User Permission, or you can grant or deny specific Reports-related sub permissions as needed.

On the ControlPanel:

Click

on the Users menu to expand it.

Click Users.

Search for the Users for whom you want to manage permissions.

Filter	Description
Usernames Beginning With	Click the first letter of a username or [0-9] to display all usernames beginning with the option you selected. You can also click [Show All] to display all Users.
Field(s) Containing	Type a Username, First Name, or Last Name, or any combination of the three. You can also type partial usernames, first names or last names if you are unsure of the exact spelling or if you want to broaden your search.
Users with Status	Select one or more of the following check boxes to search for usernames by status. The more check boxes you select, the broader your search. Denied Access - Users whose access to the LearnCenter is denied because they have not been approved by an Administrator. They can only access the LearnCenter when an Admin approves them. Pending Approval - Users who are awaiting approval to use the LearnCenter. Approved - Users who have been approved to use the LearnCenter Approved Users can access the LearnCenter. Removed - Users who have been removed from the LearnCenter. Disabled Access - Users who are approved, but who failed logging in multiple times, based on the settings for the LearnCenter password lockout feature. They cannot access the LearnCenter until an Administrator removes the lockout flag on their User accounts. Note: See Customizing the Login Lockout Feature for additional information on setting up the Login Lockout feature. If you do not select any of the check boxes, the search is performed on Users of all statuses except Removed. Note: See Customizing the Login Lockout Feature in online help for additional information on setting up the Login Lockout feature. If you do not select any of the check boxes, the search is performed on Users of all statuses except Removed.
*User Group	This field displays if you are using the classic Groups functionality. You can search for users who are part of groups. Select (highlight) the group name in User Group box. If you want to further filter by sub group, click Sub Groups and then select the sub group name in the box. Click Show Users to display the members of this group in the User List.
*Groups	This field displays if you are using the Dynamic Groups functionality. The search text box has a limitation of 100 characters. The default number of Groups displayed in the drop-down list is limited to 50. Type a partial name in the search box and select the Group you want from the drop-down list. Notice that the unique Group Code is listed next to the Group Name in the list.
Display	Decide how many results you want to display on the page and select it from the Display drop-down list. The default number of records displayed on the page is 50. You can change this by selecting a different number from the Display drop-down list. You can display up to 1000 records.

Click

next to an Admin.

Click

next to Manage Reports to expand the list of permissions.

Click the check box next to a permission to grant it to the Admin.
or
Clear the check box to deny the permission to the Admin.

Click Save.

Each permission is described below.

Manage Reports	Grant this permission to any Users responsible for managing Report Builder Reports.
Copy Reports	Enables Users to copy reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to copy reports.
Delete Reports	Enables Users to delete reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to delete reports.
Execute Assessment	Enables Users to run Assessment reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Assessment reports.
Execute Assets/Materials Fulfillment	Enables Users to run Assets/Materials Fulfillment reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Assets/Materials Fulfillment reports.
Execute Assignment Status	Enables Users to run Assignment Status reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Assignment Status reports.
Execute Balanced Scorecard	Enables Users to run Balanced Scorecard reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Balanced Scorecard reports.
Execute Best Match	Enables Users to run Best Match reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Best Match reports.
Execute Certification Expiration	Enables Users to run Certification Expiration reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Certification Expiration reports.
Execute Certification Track	Enables Users to run Certification Track reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Certification Track reports.
Execute Class Status	Enables Users to run Class Status reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Class Status reports.
Execute Completed Enrollments	Enables Users to run Completed Enrollments reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Completed Enrollments reports.
Execute Completed ILT Sessions	Enables Users to run Completed ILT Sessions reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Completed ILT Sessions reports.
Execute Completion Credits	Enables Users to run Completion Credits reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Completion Credits reports.
Execute Report	Enables Users to run the LearnCenter Report. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run the LearnCenter Report.
Execute Course Matrix	Enables Users to run Course Matrix reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Course Matrix reports.
Execute Course Review	Enables Users to run Course Review reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Course Review reports.
Execute Current User Enrollments	Enables Users to run Current User Enrollments reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Current User Enrollments reports.
Execute Learning Plan	Enables Users to run Learning Plan reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Learning Plan reports.
Execute Discrimination Index	Enables Users to run Discrimination Index reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Discrimination Index reports.
Execute Dropped Enrollments	Enables Users to run dropped enrollment reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run dropped enrollment reports.
Execute eCommerce Reports	Enables Users to run eCommerce reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run eCommerce reports.
Execute Enrollment Report	Enables Users to run Enrollment LearnCenter Reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Enrollment LearnCenter Reports.
Execute Event/Track/Session/ Report	Enables Users to run Event/Track/Session/ LearnCenter Report reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Event/Track/Session/ LearnCenter Reports.
Execute Group Members	Enables Users to run Group Members reports. If you deny this permission, Users will not be able to run Group Members reports.
