You have the ability to limit the number of recipients per email message sent from the LearnCenter Com System to third party email software. This functionality is not recommended for everyone. It is intended for use only when your organization’s ISP or SMTP mail server limits the number of email recipients you can have in bulk email messages, and you regularly send bulk email messages to a recipient list greater than the limitation.
With this functionality, you can designate a maximum number of recipients for bulk email messages sent from LearnCenter. Generally this would be equal to or less than your ISP or SMTP maximum. LearnCenter then sends bulk email messages out to your recipients up to that maximum. If your recipient list is greater than your set maximum, LearnCenter sends separate messages to smaller groups, up to your set maximum.
For example, if your ISP or SMTP mail server limits you to 1000 recipients per email, you can set LearnCenter to send messages to no more than 1000 recipients at a time. Say, for example, your bulk email is intended for 2500 recipients, and your set maximum is 1000. LearnCenter will send one email message to the first 1000 recipients, a second email to the next 1000 recipients, and a third to the remaining 500. This behavior is applied to each recipient line item individually (To, CC, BCC). When applied to the CC field, all recipients in the CC field will appear in the To field in third party email systems. All messages sent to recipients in the BCC field are sent separately to preserve the anonymity of delivery. However, BCC recipients will be listed in the To field in third party email systems. If you need to see an email recipient list as it was originally intended, you can open the message in the Com System.
