Learning Item Synchronization

Use the Learning Item Synchronization Settings page to indicate the intervals at which you want SmartOrg to synchronize the information between Learn and your other Taleo product. Oracle recommends that you run synchronization every 12 hours, or at least once per day.

SmartOrg is an interface that aids in the integration between Oracle Taleo Learn and other Oracle products like Taleo Enterprise Edition (TEE) Performance. If you are an integrated customer, you will notice Smart Org menu options under the Integration ControlPanel menu in root LearnCenter. See SmartOrg for an overview of SmartOrg.

IMPORTANT: TEE Performance must be activated in order for the SmartOrg Learning Item Synch to have any data to pull across. Otherwise, "View Synchronization Logs" (Learning Item Audit Trail) will always display a "Failed" status for all entries.

From the ControlPanel:

  1. Click on the Integrations menu to expand the list.
  2. Click Learning Item Synchronization.

  1. Select one of the following for Synchronize:
  1. Select the check boxes next to the days of the week you want SmartOrg to synchronize information. Clear the check boxes next to the days of the week you do not want SmartOrg to synchronize information.
  2. Select the Start Time for which you want SmartOrg to begin the synchronization process.
  3. Select the check box for  Synchronization Enabled to indicate that synchronization is enabled.
    or
Clear the check box to indicate that synchronization is not enabled.
  4. (Optional) Click the View Synchronization Logs hyperlink to view past synchronization information.
