ILT Data Requirements

Use the information in the following tables to help you enter data in the downloaded Bulk Loader Source File templates.

Each field is detailed in the following tables. Click the Text Editor number or Column letter hyperlinks to where each field is on the Session Information page.

Bulk Loader data files do not support characters with the grave accent.

ILT Event Name

ILT Session: Creating ILT Session that are Mapped to ILT Events and Tracks

Use the following to help you enter ILT Session data. When creating ILT Sessions that are mapped to ILT Events and Tracks, each row of the data file should contain the ILT Event and ILT Track information that the session to which it is mapped.

ILT Session: Creating ILT Quick Session

When creating ILT Quick Sessions, the ILT Events and ILT Tracks fields should be left blank. LearnCenter identifies these blanks as ILT Quick sessions. Your data file should have the ILT Event and ILT Track information BLANK in each row.

ILT Session Information

The following applies to ILT Sessions that are mapped to ILT Events and ILT Tracks, as well as ILT Quick Sessions.

ILT Session Minimum Seats

ILT Session Start Date

  • mm = Two digit month dd = Two digit Day yyyy = Four digit Year
  • The date will appear based on the system setting

IMPORTANT: This date format must be used even if it is not the standard date format in the country where a User is located. Even if you live in a country where DD/MM/YYYY is the standard format, you must use MM/DD/YYYY in the .TXT file in order to avoid errors and result in a successful import. The uploaded dates in the ILT Sessions will display to end Users based on the LearnCenter or User preferences for the date format.

ILT Session Start Time

ILT Session Custom Fields

  • The custom Fields for the ILT Session must be unique.
  • If multiple custom fields (For the ILT Session) with the exact same name exist, the application cannot determine which field to map the data to and will skip the field.
  • Example: ILT Session Custom Field 01=Custom Data Set 0
  • Example: ILT Session Custom Field 01=Custom Data Set 01;ILT Session Custom Field 02=Custom Data Set 02;ILT Session Custom Field 03=Custom Data Set 03
Custom fields must exist and have unique names. If more than one ILT Session custom field is found with the same name, this will be an error condition and outputted to the results file.

Show Event Information

Prerequisites

  • There are operators between them for and / or Conditions
  • Prerequisites can be optional or mandatory
  • For format if the data in the column: <item type>=<item name>;<mandatory / optional>;operator
  • Each Prerequisites mapping is separated by a semicolon ;
  • The Training Items for the Prerequisites must exist in the LearnCenter
  • Item Type supported for Prerequisites mapping:
  • Assignment
  • Class
  • Course
  • Enrollment
  • ILT Session
 
  • Example: Course=Active Listening;Mandatory
  • Example: Course=Active Listening;Mandatory;and;Assignment=Create ILT Loader PPT;Optional
  • Example: Course=Active Listening; Optional;or;Assignment=Code of Conduct;Mandatory;and;Assignment=Create ILT Loader PPT;Optional

The content for the Prerequisites must exist for them to be mapped to the ILT Session.

ILT Session Categories

  • The Application can load data into as many Categories root and sub-categories as exist in the LearnCenter for ILT Sessions
  • For format if the data in the column: < category name>;< category name>
  • Each Categories mapping is separated by a semicolon ;
  • The Categories must exist in the LearnCenter
  • The Categories names for the ILT Session must be unique.
  • If multiple Categories (For the ILT Session) with the exact same name exist, the application cannot determine which field to map the data to and will skip the field.
  • Example: Root Categories 01
  • Example: Root Categories 01;Root Categories 02;Root Categories 03
  • Example: Root Categories 01;Root Categories 02; Sub Categories 03;Sub Categories 04
Categories must exist and have unique names. If more than one Category is found with the same name, this will result in an error condition and that will be outputted to the Results File.

ILT Session Instructors

  • The Application can load data into as many Instructors required ILT Sessions
  • For format if the data in the column: <instructors username>;< instructors username >
  • Each Instructors mapping is separated by a semicolon ;
  • The uses must be made Instructors in the LearnCenter
  • The Instructors are found by the application by their username
  • Example: DBIRCHER
  • Example: DBIRCHER;MGOLDBERG
Users must be made Instructors in the LearnCenter to be mapped to the Session as Instructors.

ILT Session Location

Accepted Values
  • The Location are found by the application by their location name.
  • If multiple Locations with the exact same name exist, the application cannot determine which field to map the data to and will skip the field.
  • Example: Location 01
  • Example: Columbus Ohio Office
The Location must exist in the LearnCenter to be mapped to the ILT Session.

ILT Session Room

Accepted Values
  • LearnCenter finds Rooms by their room name.
  • If multiple Rooms with the exact same name exist, LearnCenter will not be able to determine which field to map the data to, and it will skip the field.

The Location must exist in the LearnCenter to be mapped to the ILT Session.

ILT Session Assets Materials

  • For format if the data in the column: < asset/ material name>;< asset/material name>
  • Each Assets/Materials mapping is separated by a semicolon ;

  • The Assets/Materials names must be unique.
  • If multiple Assets/Materials with the exact same name exist, LearnCenter will not be able to determine which field to map the data to, and it will skip the field.
  • Example: Assets 01
