Options
Use the Options menu
to define system-wide settings and to enable certain features for LearnCenter. The appearance of
this menu varies based on whether you are logged in to a root or sub LearnCenter. The root LearnCenter has one extra
menu option called System. The System menu
enables the owner of the root LearnCenter to
set certain properties that will affect the root and all sub LearnCenters. (See System
Options for information on this menu.)
On the ControlPanel, click
on the Options
menu to expand it. From the this menu you can:
- Set certain properties that affect the root
and all sub LearnCenters
(available on the root LearnCenter only),
such as certain reporting, communications, and password recovery settings
- Define your LearnCenter’s
browser title
- Define contact information
- Set some left
navigation bar options
- Select the default time zone
settings
- Set date/time formats for localization
- Set global sharing options for Answers,
Appraisals, Assessments/Surveys, Balanced Scorecards, Credits, Global
Resource Manager, Global Search, Global Training History, Instances,
Notices, Notifications, and Questions
- Define the default signup pending approval message
- Set certain course options
- Manage the default settings for ILT pages
- Determine security options for your LearnCenter
- Determine settings for user fields for all
standard user fields (First Name, Address, Job Title, etc.)
- Set language settings
- Add and edit custom user fields
for use throughout LearnCenter.
